  This is the start point for my build, and old Revel Robotech kit – Assalt Squad. I’m only going to build the walker and I’m thinking that I’m going to treat it as a different scale to the original 1/72 and pose it with one or more 25/28mm wargaming figures. |

I’ve made a start and made some decisions. I’ve decided not to use the rocket launcher as I think it unbalances the look. I’ve made a new barrel and added a few extra detailing parts. the legs are going to get more detail – some pipe work, but won’t be having the “knee-pads” from the original. I’m going to sculpt some “rubber-boots” to go around the legs where they enter the body, mostly to hide the gaps. The legs are taped just to hold them together for photographing the thing as they don’t clip. |
